Willett was established in 1897, by William Willett to sell properties he was building in and around London. The company later expanded its services to include Residential and Commercial Surveying Services.
In 1981 Clifford Tippett bought the company from its then current owners Trafalgar House, expanding the business to include a second office in the Gloucester Road area of London.
During 1986 Willett was sold to Royal Life, and overnight re-branded as Barnard Marcus. This allowed Clifford Tippett to retain the Willett name, and continue to offer Commercial and Residential Surveying Services as Willett Tippett & Co.
Jack Tippett left Bristol Auction Rooms in 1998, and joined the family business, expanding its services to include Plant and Machinery Valuations and Disposals.
Jack Tippett has worked as a Plant and Machinery valuer since entering the industry in 1987. He has gained a wealth of experience across all industries from Steel Works and Power Stations to Hotels and Nursing Homes. He covers the full spectrum of work from Insurance Valuations to Insolvency Valuations and Disposals.
Willett Tippett remains a family business and through a network of associated companies have confidence that they can put the right team together to cover any valuation or disposal assignment that is required.
